Any phone with face ID has that option. There is a setting for require attention that you can turn off I know on the 11.I no longer have that phone as it was my work phone, but there are two settings dealing with attention.I wish I could remember exactly where to tell you to check, but face ID worked very easily and quickly on the 11.
