That is very curious. When I connect my Tribit MaxSound Plus Bluetooth speaker to my SE 2020, the status bar says Bluetooth headphones connected and gives the battery charge. The battery widget on my today view says Tribit MaxSound Plus headphones and provides the battery charge too. Other than calling the speaker headphones, both the status bar and the widget give the battery level. Funny that my Apple Airpods second generation state the battery level as 0% in the status bar when they are connected.
