Hello Reggie, and list,
Thank you for answering my questions. I really appreciate this.
However, this has lead to a few more questions. So I really hope someone
might have some thoughts.
Ok, let's say that I decide to purchase HBO Max. But I don't want to
have to use the App directly. But I know I have to have it installed.
If within the Apple TV App, can I search , and watch the content that is
offered through HBO Max?
Also, would I need to sign up for HBO Max with my Apple ID, in order for
all of this content to show up through Apple TV?
I am probably still a bit confused here. So any help is grately appreciated.
Thank you,
Terri

Terry, Yes, you have to have the apps for the programs you want to watch. Apple
TV Plus I have watched right from the app, but everything else I watch from
apple TV app but have the app for the network or whatever I am watching. The
other thing about streaming is that every app except those you purchase on a
subscription have to reside on your cable or app such as sling, spectrum app,
youtube TV, etc. Now if I am incorrect on any of this please correct me
everyone. Streaming is relatively new to me. When I ask for a show in the Apple
Tv app it takes me to the show.

Hello everyone,
I have some questions regarding Apple TV. I can't remember if stuff like that
can be asked here. So if not, I do apologize. If someone lets me know, I would
appreciate it.
As I mentioned in an earlier message, I recently purchased a new phone. So now
I am able to sign up for Apple TV, free for a year. I decided to take advantage
of this.
Here is what I would like to know. I was looking through some of the shows that
were offered. It stated there were shows from HBO Max, CBS all access, and
other networks.
However, if all these shows are offered, does this mean that you would then
have to pay for each service that offered the show?
That's what I am thinking would have to happen.
If you were to do this, would you then watch the shows through the Apple TV
App? Or would you have to download each App that you had subscribed to?
I am just a bit confused by this. So I am needing some clarification.
Thank you,
Terri
