I did update Seeing AI this morning and it was the update I used. Strangely enough when I use the stand with Seeing AI it always tells me that not all edges are visible. I’ve tried adjusting the hight of the stand but never got it to work. Using the app free hand I was able to obtain excellent results on a single page document I had printed with my HP laser printer. OCR was accurate and having followed thee instructions on document placement none of the text on the page was clipped. The only apps to come near to Supersense that I tried freehand were Prizmo Go and Voice Dream Scanner. Next I used the same document with my iPhone using a Fopydo document stand. Using Supersense’s Smart Scanning option it detected I was scanning a document and captured the page. Once again it gave an accurate OCR of the document with no text clipped. I tried Seeing AI, KNFB Reader, Envision AI, Prizmo and Prizmo Go. Out of thee apps Supersense did the best job on the document I used. This is by no means a scientific result and your findings may differ from mine. This is just my initial finding. I shall experiment further with other features of Supersense and compare them with other apps where appropriate.
