Hello,

Kind of a followup to my recent inquiry, if my Life Partner decides to get an iPad, is it possible to set one up without any sighted assistance?

The problem is that we are having a very hard time right now getting an appointment at the Apple store, where they would normally do that for a blind customer. So basically, we would be having to get it running from square one.

My Life Partner has a very limited amount of partial vision, and I have none at all. I do however, have some familiarity with VoiceOver, having had an iPad Mini for a few years. So I could likely be of help in setting it up, once VoiceOver has been activated.

I would be grateful for any advice on this.

Evan
