I didn't have Bluetooth on, which will work in my hearing aids. I could hear VoiceOver just fine and Siri, but not a caller or someone I called.

A weird thing happened to me this morning. I could not hear people on my phone, whether I called them or they called me, so I shut down, came back up and VOILA, phone working.
