I have contacts, calendar, and mail defaulting to Outlook. Now, I will say I primarily use the native mail app, contacts, and calendar, but since I have Microsoft 365 on my Windows machine, by setting my iPhone to default to my outlook email address, and contacts and calendar todefault to Outlook, everything syncs quite nicely between my phone and computer. And, when I installed the Outlook app, it worked perfectly when I entered part of an address, the matches came up immediately that I could choose from.

I just tried it by putting the letter d in the to field, heard the announcement and flicked right and got the first suggestion and by continuing to flick right it jumped from one to the next with no issues.
