It is quite easy. When you open it you may be in the help file. Along the top is the File manager, Add document, Export, Audio Settings, Visual Settings and Tools. Double tap Add document to start a new one or import a document. If you select create new, you will need to give it a file name. After hitting enter, you will be in the blank text area and can just start writing. It saves automatically in that file name. Then, if you want to use the more advanced features, you can learn them as you go. But even just for straight text writing, it is much better than the native Notes app.
