That is the site to manager your Apple ID when you want to make changes or check something. I just tried it with Edge and it didn't like my password, which I know is correct. I then ran Firefox and made sure remember me was not checked. I entered my user name hit continue, entered my password, and received a notification on my phone that a login was being attempted, after allowing that, and entering the 6 digit verification code from the phone, I was in.
