I don't have Edge or Google Chrome set to remember passwords. But, here's something weird, or maybe not, this happens on my Windows 7 PC when using the latest Edge or Chrome but, on my Windows 10 PC everything works just fine, which I just discovered a little while ago. Thanks for confirming that I'm using the correct URL for logging into my Apple account.
