Hi, Let me explain about the new touch ID that apple rumors are talking about. The rumors say the new touch ID will be that you can touch anywhere on the screen with one finger and it will read your finger print to open the iPhone. Another words there is not going to be a home button to put your finger on like it the past on the iPhones.
Now the second comment I want to make about worrying about someone holding the iPhone up to your face to open it. If you are going to worry about that then here is another hypothetical for you to consider as some of you are saying touch ID is safer. What if someone hits you on the head and takes your finger and puts it on the screen of your iPhone and opens it? So as you can see you can play this hypothetical game all day long worrying about someone opening your iPhone and which one is more safer face ID or Touch ID.
