I read in a post on maccessibility that iBooks 3.0 added the ability to read
by line in pdf files, but this is only accomplished by moving your finger up
or down the screen and pausing when you encounter a line you wish to be read
by VoiceOver. I seem to remember being able to do this before the update.

Yes, I also have my request in, and I had really hoped for the fulfillment
of that request in the new release, since it seems to take quite some time
between releases of iBooks. The guy on the other list who first said he

read by line discovered that it was only in pdf. So at least, I know now
