The two finger double tap should work no matter where the focus is, even if you are in the middle of reading an eMail.
But, you may also want to check under Settings, Phone, that the new item, Incoming Calls, is set to full screen. When I receive a phone call the name pops up like you'd expect and I can double tap to answer. However, if I touch the screen in some way that moves the focus the caller and the answer button disappear. The phone still rings but I can't figure out how to answer it. Any directions would be appreciated. Thanks. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
