Hi, I use Siri all the time to send text messages or audio messages. I just say hey Siri, send a audio message to XXXXX then she will say recording and I just start talking and when I stop talking for about five seconds or longer Siri comes on and says do you want me to send it. At that point and I can say play and she will play my audio message and when it is done she says send it and you say yes. If you don't want to hear it played back just say yes when she asked if you want it sent. Mr. Ed
