I'm looking forward to when I get my new iPhone to see if a newer battery will work for me better then my 8. I usually charge the battery once per day. If I'm not using my iPhone but still have it on, I find that if I lock my iPhone the battery stays charged better. If I leave my iPhone unlocked the battery drains rather quickly.
