Also please note that the freestyle libre link is not a full CGM device, Until they make it a Bluetooth enabled and syncing device to the phone / app with Bluetooth It's not actually a CGM.

Larry, in my case, yes. The requirements were- Had to be diagnosed at least 1 year, had to test glucose levels 4 or more times per day & had to be taking insulin. Insurance plans differ, each persons situation is different & some peoples doctor is willing to help the patient get the needed device, while others doctor is lazy. So obtaining a CGM is on a case by case basis. Obtaining a CGM through state medicaid seems to be easier than private insurances.
