Apple Music is pre-ripped titles and albums available for streaming and limited download. iTunes Match uploads your music collection and makes it available for streaming on Apple devices. The music app allows people to transfer music to their iPhone and listen to it on their device. You can definitely rip a CD in iTunes. It then will be saved in the iTunes library. If you want the highest possible bit rate quality, adjust the settings in iTunes. When your iPhone is connected to your computer, the tracks will automatically synchronize and transfer to your iPhone for listening in the music app. This process is free. The others require a paid subscription. Compared to the cost of an Apple Music subscription, the $100 or $200 for extra storage is less expensive over four or five years of iPhone ownership.
