Voice Dream Reader is only an app for reading most any text based document, and has some ability to OCR image files. Voice Dream Writer is primarily a txt editor with which you can markup or "markdown" text files to then export with formatting to RTF format. It only opens and works with text txt files; but you can export to several formats. HTH,
