Well, the Sonos Roam, which is both Wi-Fi and Buetooth, has aprox. 10 hours of battery life on a full charge, has tone settings if you go through the Sonos app. You can turn on or off the Loudness feature that boosts the base for everything; which I find will cause it to clip at anything but a very low volume.
But, it actually has settings to adjust the base and treble on a slider that works. We have other Sonos speakers, so it made sense to get this one. $169. And has been pointed out, there are some very basic settings in the music app on the iPhone. And quite a few pre-set settings for different styles of music in there as well. The Roam gives plenty of volume and has great sound.
