One thing you could do is go into the Apps Library and copy it from their on to your home page. To get to the Apps Library, flick left with three fingers until you get to your last home page and then flick left with three fingers one more time to get into the Apps Library. What I would do next is touch the screen in the middle to put focus on an item in your Apps Library and then flick up with three fingers to alphabetize all of your apps. Now you can easily find the Messages app and use the normal gestures to move the Messages app anywhere you want on your home pages.
