Wow! Where to start? I am totally disalusioned by the blue tooth connection between the hearing aids and the phone. Under some limited circumstances it's a good thing regardless. for most times though I wind up having my hearing aids disconnected from the phone and use my earpods with the hearing aids. People hear me better and the phone acts less querky.
As long as your earphones play nicely with your hearing aids, and that you don't lose something in the process, whatever's comfortable. I bought the airpods, but stopped using them because I'd manage to get one or another of them to drop out of my ear, and, if I was lucky enough, to get a sightie to help me find the missing one.
