It really depends on your equipment. If I read in braille, I prefer to download books into my HIMS device, which has a DAISY player. I play them in DAISY but they are displayed in braille thanks to the device's translation capability. I can then take advantage of DAISY navigation To skip around the book. Otherwise, What you have been told is quite workable.
