Alternatively you could just get a wireless charging pad, you can get many of them which are less money than the Belkin adapter which allows you to plug in a Lightning headset and charge at the same time and I find it much more convenient, just lay your phone on the charging pad and it starts charging and you can of course still have your headset plugged in and listen. You can get round charging pads which look much like a coaster you put under a glass or cup on the table or you can get some which are more like a cradle where the iPhone rests on a 45 degree angle. Of course the bottom of the phone then usually rests against an edge so if you want to use a headset with a cradle like that you would have to put it in upside down so you can still plug in the headset.
