I'd try and call apple accessibility although they don't like helping
with third party apps.  I know how you feel about not wanting to
uninstall the bard mobile app.  I've got almost 1500 books downloaded
into my bard mobile app.  Did you completely close the app from the
app switcher?  Wish I could think of something else.  Good luck.
