Sure, it's got its rough edges, but at least I control what is on my phone, what can go on my phone, what app stores are on my phone, and can even play the video games I'm good at, on my phone. Its not perfect as I said, but I have control, and Apple, or Google for that matter, cannot take it away. I think the only way Apple will change so drastically is if they notice a decrease in money. Their App Store is very dear to them as a money-making ability, so I doubt a few people complaining about a specialized app will move them. After all, thousands of people complaining about CSAM hasn't, and thousands complaining about fortnight hasn't either. If it does, though, that's great. But if not, prepare to vote with your money.
