You cannot download older versions of apps. I'd suggest not even trying to update your apps as the apps will no longer work on that old of a system. If you just keep your apps as they are you can continue using it as long as it physically works. But, most of the apps are now designed to take advantage of things in the newer iOS versions. So, best to turn off updates if you haven't and just leave the apps alone.
