Joseph, You bring up a good point for people who may not have the dexterity to do the swipes for home, app switcher, control center, and notification center.
I had the 11 when I was working and hadn’t thought to try the gestures with one hand. If you get to the point where you have no choice, could you hold the phone in your left and do the gestures with your right? The gestures don’t take much strength, but they do take control. If you don’t have the control to do a steady swipe, then that will be a definite argument to Apple to keep a home button of some kind. You can, right now, tell Siri, Go to the home screen, and it will. I suspect there are commands in Voice Control that will do the rest, app switcher, control center, and notification switcher. I hope, for your sake, it doesn’t come to that point.
