If you wish to adjust it by single digits in settings, double tap and hold, then while holding, roll your finger left and right. To borrow a phrase from a Brill Cream commercial from years ago, a little dab will do yuh, but if you are careful, you can move it by single digits. I use the setting in the rotor for speech adjustment, the place I usually use this rolling my finger thing is in the volume controll, where pressing the volume buttons causes it to jump too far.
