I just replaced my thermostat, the main reason was that I did not have the 
ability to manually switch the fan on and off, it only worked when the heat or 
A.C. was on, I only have 3 wires in the wall. What I got was a Honeywell 
wireless thermostat, the receiver is what connects to the system and you can 
put the thermostat any place you want. I didn't even mount it to the wall, I 
just carry it with me from room to room, that way the room I'm in has an 
accurate temperature reading. If you purchase the internet gateway, you can 
control the thermostat using your phone or Amazon echo. This is the first time 
I have had a thermostat with this feature and it's very nice.
