I’m coming back with more information which at least to me does seem to
implicate some thing about the watch in my voice over volume problem.
Yesterday, I had occasion to do a zoom meeting on an older iPhone which is not
connected to my watch in anyway. It doesn’t even have a Sim card. I was wearing
the watch and the zoom went great. No volume problems.

And just now, I got an actual phone call on my phone that is connected with the
watch. The phone rang on the watch and my iPhone. Voiceover volume went away
completely I couldn’t hear it at all on either device. I just lucked out and
double tapped blindly, no pun intended, and I got the answer button just buy
luck. The only way I could get voiceover back on the phone with the turn it off
and start it over again. And in both cases, I used Siri. And the voice that I
heard on Siri when I turned off voiceover and turn it back on is not the usual
Siri voice that I use. It was some other strange voice that I don’t know what
it is.
