Hmmmm, guess I should have read this thread before sending my message regarding the same problem.
First, I should say I have 256gB iPhone 8 and am having the same problem with the speaker not being activated when moving the phone away from me. However, this is not happening only when I make a phone call via Siri. It happens when I make a call using the keypad, selecting an incoming or outgoing call from the recents list or when activating a specific contact and selecting the phone number therein. Worse yet, I’ve had success with flicking right during the call, but I have found that the volume has been significantly reduced. So along with flicking right, I also need to deploy the Volume-Up button so I’m able to hear. The strange thing about the prior issue, if I end the call the volume for VoiceOver returns to the former decibel level. Quite peculiar, quite peculiar indeed! * * * * * * * * * * * * - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - "If you fuel your journey on the opinions of others, you are going to run out of gas." - Steve Maraboli -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
