I bought the Giraffe stand to help with reading text and it certainly does help, although I think it is a lot of money for a piece of cardboard (smile)!

However, for objects, learning how to get the camera so it catches the whole object is critical, whether using Seeing AI scene preview, or TapTapSee. IN Judy Dixon's book, Capturing and Sharing the World, one key tip is to hold the camera as far from the object as the object is tall. So, if it is 4 inches tall, you want to be at least 4 inches away. A couple more is fine for good measure. If you have someone you could call using FaceTime who could give you live pointers when you have the back camera pointed so it gets the whole object, that would be helpful. I hope that is helpful.
