Joshua, you can wait forever as there will always be larger phones and better 
battery life. It's of course your decision, but you seem almost obsessed with 
these mega storage phones just so you can fill them with more books you will 
probably never read. You could get a 1 Tb iPhone 13 Pro now and whether there 
will be a 2 Tb phone next year remains to be seen, but even if there is it 
could very well be a $1,600 or $1,800 phone even in US Dollars.

My iPhone 8 still has the home button and I have no problems upgrading to a new 
phone after a couple of years.  Part of the reason why I'm still not getting a 
new iPhone, is I'm waiting for more storage space and even better battery life. 
 I had the chance when I got my iPhone 8 to get an iPhone 11 and I regret not 
getting that phone when I had the chance.  Glad to get all these tips about 
powering down the newer iPhone's.  Not having a home button doesn't really 
bother me any more.
I know my next iPhone is going to be awesome.
