First, Apple Watch questions are definitely on topic for this list, so

Second, to turn the watch off, just hold the long button on the right side
until you feel a haptic feedback, at this time, a pop up will be on the
screen. Just swipe to power off and double tap.
Third, You can check your Apple Watch battery's charge level in several
places:
1. Swipe up on the watch face to open Control Center and see the battery
percentage.
2. On some watch faces, you can add a battery complication.
3. On your iPhone, you can add a battery widget to show any connected
Apple Watch.
