Also, when you first look at the info about a movie or show, and listen to things like the rating of the movie, it will say either audio description or nothing if it isn't available. I've had the audio description turned on for sometime and it works great. I just got an echo fourth gen, and listening to an audio described movie from Disney plus sounds great on my new echo.
