Here  Here’s an update. I tried connecting my wife’s iPhone to my Windows 7 
machine and holding the home and sleep buttons to begin the recovery mode 
process. I thought I was doing well until the message still came up that I 
would have to respond on the iPhone to facilitate the download and restore. 
I’ve checked with my wife’s iCloud account and this phone is
