Thank you, very odd. Might it be that my dictation button was missing because I also had a braille display attached via Bluetooth? Does the dictation button disappear when you have a braille display attached? I'm fairly certain it didn't disappear from other apps, such as Twitterrific, but I wonder. I will try it again and see if it was just a random blip.
