Well I have been saying this for many months now. A complete waste of money
in my opinion because of that lead to technology that Apple allows in their
headsets in terms of not updating to the latest protocol.

Here is an interesting article which shows how limited Bluetooth
connectivity is and that includes the ultra high priced Airpods Max headphones:

So, I'll continue to wait for a Sonos headset which will of course add the
headset to my existing Sonos system via Wi-Fi and will be able to provide
true lossless quality sound and most likely for less than what the Airpods
Max dcost.
