First, Mary, The batteries can be replaced when they die; or at least that is my understanding. Second, Joshuah, I'm sure if you got an Apple Card you could pay them off in time. If people think Sonos will come out with a pair of headphones for less; I will be surprised if they do and if their batery is driving Wi-Fi and bluetooth, who knows what that will look like. I'm quite happy with my purchase. But, to each his/her own.
