Fazil, I might suggest to you that you put in the other face ID. There are two places that you can set up Face ID apparently it’s for someone else that might be using your phone. However, I found that it works even better if I set it up with both Face ID places. Hope this helps. Both the face ID and the swipe up from the bottom are hard to get used to and hard to do at first especially if you’re totally blind, but they do work and Apple has greatly improved Face ID. When I had a iPhone X it worked probably 80% of the time or 90% of the time. Now unless I don’t pull it up to my face fast enough it works about 95 to 98% of the time. The biggest thing that I have had to get used to is that Face ID pops up more often on apps such as my banking app suddenly and I don’t have the position correctly. Now I try to keep it in position as much as I can if I know that there’s a chance that Face ID will come up. I had trouble with my SE 2020 and the fingerprint sensor I think it worked probably 60% of the time. This probably was because my fingers tend to be quite dry and at times cracked. However Face ID as I said now works with my iPhone 12 probably 95 to 98% of the time.

I have mastered the gestures to get to things without the home button, but face ID continues to bedevil me. Also, it is very hard to get the keypad to come up to enter the passcode. You will have to learn the new gestures for getting to the home screen, control center, app switcher, etc., but I did not find that very difficult after practice. I know that I have to embrace change and except new things, and again, I like this bigger phone and I love the battery life compared to my iPhone 8, so I don’t want to go back to that phone again, but I hate using a passcode to authenticate, so I am really hoping that I can get this worked out.
