I wonder if it works better, using the app, on an android device? If there is 
an app for the kindle fire, Ithink that is android, so maybe they care more 
about android than IOS.

I don’t own any but an Echo Show 5, and have no need of such a routine, but if 
it works on their own devices, then they care, at least, some about 
accessibility.
 
Granted, in an ideal world, they would make sure it works in Apple Devices, but 
you run into the issue of Apple blaming them, and they no doubt will blame 
Apple.
 
Let’s hope it works on Amazon devices and somehow the pressure to fix it for

Don, I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, there is a button  
that you have to tap to get past this screen which is totally inaccessible with 
VoiceOver. I had to have my sighted wife tap on it to get past it. You can’t 
help but wonder if Amazon does any accessibility testing when making changes.
