You are correct, you can not just double tap on an animal or object in a photo and label it. That is why I supplied instructions for adding an image description for a photo. Please note, an image description is not the same as a caption. A caption is not read out by voice over when landing on a photo in going through your photo roll, but an image description is. I just added an image description for a photo I have of one of my dogs. So I put the dogs name in the image description along with what they were doing in the photo. Even though it is buried, I do like the option of adding an image description when needed.
