Hello Joe,

The idea of a password manager is that you have one program which remembers
and signs you into your apps and websites. That program has many features,
but the most fundamental is that of remembering passwords and autofilling
them when needed. Password managers can generate new passwords to input
into your apps and sites, and it is recommended highly that each site or
app has both a different password, and two-factor authentication, which a
password manager can also help you with.

To get started, you can install and set up an account with 1password or
LastPass. If you have passwords saved in your browsers, you can import them
into the password manager. If not, when you log into a site, you will be
prompted to have the password manager remember that password for you.
Password managers use browser extensions to interface between the password
manager and your browser, and there are extensions for Chrome and Edge for
both 1Password and LastPass.

Thanks.
