I couldn’t read an e-book in the Libby app at all, unless I opened it as a kindle book. You also have the option of EPUB but I didn’t try that because it indicated that it had DRM protection and I wasn’t sure that would work with voiceover. Libby works great for audiobooks and that’s what I mostly use it for. But you can’t beat Kindle for e-books in my opinion.
