Hello, This sounds suspiciously like an old problem that arose in IOS 14. I don't recall the exact details but it involved the repeated word getting assigned to the "page identifier" on the home screen. This is the item that says "1 of 5" or however many home pages you have.
The fix, as best I recall it, is to focus on the page identifier then edit its label with the 2-finger double tap and hold gesture. The repeating word should show up as the label. Replace it with a space and save it. I hope this gives enough information to let you fix the problem or let someone else who can recall all the detail stepsremember them. Good luck.
