I have it disabled too. It is good that there is facial ID, because I had a friend being treated for cancer, and the chemo-therapy had caused her to temporarily have no fingerprint at all, so she had real problems with touch screens. So in her case, even with facial ID, she might have had to be over dependent on Siri for a while.

Face Id is actually more secure than Touch Id and it works for me I would say about 96 or 98% of the time. I do have th attention feature turned off I should add, it makes it maybe slightly less secure, but both my eyes are prosthetic and I often do not have them in at night. I have no issue with Face I d with the attention feature enabled, but it will not work if it doesn't see the eyes whereas it works just fine even in absolute darkness with that feature disabled..
