You would have to sign in on her gmail account on the web to enable iMap I believe, or to check and see if it is there. I believe you can also dig into the account settings on the phone mail settings and tell, but I'm a little foggy on that point.
I assume you are talking about Apple books? IF she is signed in with the same Apple ID, that is one where she needs to call Apple, and if she won't, then she will have to live with it.
