I haven't tried any of these and am interested. I have looked at the VIP talking thermostat. I'm going to go look into these as well. The only problem I can see is if your power goes off, you need to make sure your router reconnects automatically to the internet if you are not home. Otherwise, you can't reach the thermostat for control to warm/cool the house.
