I have friends who use the talking ones all the time and really like them. One of the pros of the wifi would be that you could control it away from home where the talking one you would have to be right in front of it. The talking one has a five year warranty and be set before you put it on the wall. It is run by batteries so you don't lose your programming if power is down. The others have a battery backup so same would apply. The talking ones have everything done by voice and have the CD with them. The one I would have to get would be $150 instead of the $139 or $99 of the wireless. Decisions, dictions. *smile*
