The way I see it Tonido is no safer than any other solution that exists.
Remember only you can share that personal data of yours, no one else. I
haven't used the service yet but I know you don't have to share an
entire drive or drives. You can for example share a drive where only
music and other media content are stored. As I say the only way to be
100% safe is to completely disconnect from the internet.
